A Modern Mosaic: Celebrating the work of American choreographers

Jul 11 – 12 at 7:30pm, Jul 13 at 2pm

25th Anniversary Season

Zenon Dance Company returns to New York with the premiere of Bebe Miller’s Sanctuary and a reprise of Sean Curran’s Coda. Miller created her fierce and spiritual Sanctuary for the five women of Zenon. This unforgettable and moving work is set to music from Gospel at Colonus and Marianne Faithful. Curran’s Coda has quickly become a signature work for Zenon, and showcases their fearless and technically virtuosic dancers. Two additional New York premieres will round out the performances including a work by Minnesota choreographer Wynn Fricke.

  • Zenon Dance Company’s 25th Anniversary Season is made possible in part with funds from Jerome Foundation, Travelers Foundation, Target Foundation, McKnight Foundation, and the Minnesota State Arts Board. These performances are co-produced as part of a collaborative effort by: Gotham Arts Exchange, Solomons Company Dance, Nicholas Andre Dance Theater, Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company, and Zenon Dance Company.
