Known for his sophisticated use of humor within a multi-disciplinary approach to dance-making, David Neumann/advanced beginner group continues to explore the boundaries of dance by bending habitual gestures around new shapes. feedforward, David's first evening-length commission at Dance Theater Workshop, explores the analogous relationship between contemp-orary performance and athletic events with live music composed by Eve Beglarian. This contest of disciplines is danced through the mind and its tragic strategies.
