Awkward handholding, bloody mouths, and earphones were memorable traits of Ursula Eagly’s last work, Garden of Earthly Delights, which premiered at Fresh Tracks last year. Her new work, Smearcase, featuring Dean DeChiaro, Abby Harris, Jeremy Holmes, and Keith Malone, promises to be just as funny, moody, and gory. Come prepared to giggle, “eeew” and awe.
The Studio Series offers six artists a 100 hour creative residency and the opportunity to research and develop work in a process-oriented space. Outcomes of this residency program are shared through public performances throughout the season, allowing you to see the artists' work at different stages of development in a more intimate space.
