This year’s festival will showcase the work of 4O innovative contemporary dance makers with an added challenge. Festival Twenty Ten participants have been asked to adopt DanceNOW’s ‘less is more’ attitude, and present a work that is a maximum of seven minutes long while still maintaining a concise, clear and complete artistic message. The artist who best meets the DanceNOW Challenge will be awarded a stipend, as well as valuable resources to support a free, week-long residency at Silo at Kirkland Farm to develop their work.
