Connecting new audiences to dance and supporting the artistic dreams and endeavors of innovative dancemakers, DancenOw I NYC creates relationships that challenge artists' creative process and assist in moving their artistic careers forward. DancenOw I NYC's signature series, The Festival, is an opportunity for discovery that moves through the vast imagination of the NYC dance community, presenting 70+ aspiring, mid-career and time-honored dance innovators. A new 10th Anniversary Project honors David Parker and The Bang Group [Sept 4 & 8], nicholasleichterdance [Sept 5], Brian Brooks Moving Company [Sept 6], Young Dance Makers [Sept 7], and Gina Gibney Dance [Sept 9] as they present new work commissioned by DancenOw | NYC and a work from 1997.
