Best in New York Today:
Tere O’Connor

Melena Ryzik talks about Tere’s new work in The New York Times Urban Eye:

The Iron in the Fog

In the downtown dance world, the choreographer Tere O’Connor is “an essential figure, adored for his exquisitely constructed works, his mentoring and his fiercely articulated beliefs about all things related to dance,” writes Claudia La Rocco. His newest work, “Wrought Iron Fog,” uses different movement styles and a “delicately layered score” to give a glimpse, the choreographer said, of the “beauty you pass by quickly in the day,” the iron in the fog. The show opens today at DTW.
